When Animals Dance in Mali - From April 3, 2026 to February 7, 2027
Discover Mali’s Ancestral Art of Celebration
In Mali, along the Niger River, ancestral celebrations known as sogo bò literally “the animals come out” bring together theatre, dance, music and song. By day or night, on village squares or on the river, “animal” masks and puppets come to life to the rhythm of drums, revealing myths, legends and scenes from everyday life.
Through more than one hundred objects and audiovisual materials, the exhibition immerses visitors in this participatory theatre, where every member of the community, from elders to children, has a role to play. Listed as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, sogo bò is a living yet fragile tradition in today’s Mali.

North Korea - From June 12, 2026 to January 2, 2028

It is a country we know little about… and for good reason: North Korea is one of the most closed and isolated dictatorships in the world. Photographer Stéphan Gladieu travelled there five times to create a series of portraits. Granted official permission to enter this country of absolute control and accompanied at all times, he recreated a space of freedom through his mobile photographic studio, playing with backdrops and the visual codes of propaganda. Facing the camera, North Koreans look back at us as much as we observe them. But what do they see in us, and what do we truly perceive of them?

Zombies: Origins - From October 17, 2025 to August 16, 2026
Forget everything you think you know about zombies…
Beyond the fantasies of the contagious living-dead in films and pop culture, this exhibition takes you back to the myth's origins to Haiti. There – concurrent with Voodoo culture – we encounter the zombie, an unrepentant criminal judged by a secret society and given a sentence worse than death. This figure has its roots in a complex association between religions from sub-Saharan Africa, cultures of the original peoples of the Caribbean, and the traumatisms of slavery. Discover the history of these little-known beliefs, still actually alive today.
