Description

In the New York subway, a young woman, apparently in good health, is seized by violent shivers and begins to suffocate. She died on arrival at hospital. It was thought that she had succumbed to a mysterious virus. A hypothesis immediately confirmed by similar deaths in the days that followed. Tension escalated. As fear swept through the city, forensic pathologist Jack Stapleton was shocked to discover that it was not a single virus, but several unidentified ones.

He's not out of surprises: a recently developed technique could eradicate them all. But what if it wasn't "just" the viruses that had to be stopped, but those who had a vested interest in spreading them?
