Figure Oviraptor Blue
FR003342
Sold by Musée des Confluences
Description
The Oviraptor, whose name means "egg thief", was a small bipedal dinosaur that lived in the Upper Cretaceous. It is assumed to be a carnivore and a lover of eggs, which it had to break with its toothless beak. This alert-looking dinosaur was about 2.50 m tall and wore a long crest on the top of its head. Its large eye sockets suggest sharp eyesight and great vivacity. It seems that its body was entirely covered with feathers.
